how to open downloaded files from steam workshop in sfm

I could fix it easily enough by manually copying all the maps to the usermod/maps folder, but for the sake of keeping some structure in my folders I'd prefer not to. Now, the new 'issue' I'm having is that apparently putting these extracted folders into SFM's game/usermod/addons folder doesn't make maps show up in the list when I try to load one up. If it isnt Check it on, then launch SFM, the workshop window should appaer asking you if you want to download subscribed items. gma files into their own respective folders, which gave me access to the addon files such as maps and models. First, Launch the SFM SDK, use the Edit Search Paths for selected Mod function and see if Workshop is turned on. To open the workshop, you can go to the main menu and click this button: Or, you can also use Steam to navigate to the workshop. The reason I didn't see them was due to an issue with a recent update to Gmod, so if you're having that problem a simple restart of Steam should fix it (if it doesn't, I'm not sure what to do). gma files to your garrysmod/garrysmod/addons folder.
